Career history: I have 10 years experience working with apprenticeships in FE, including delivery, management and supporting systems. Prior to that I spent 10 years working in Australia developing and delivering learning solutions for global corporations, including development of remote-learning platforms.
Interests: Everything is SO interesting! Currently studying for a degree in Astronomy and Planetary Science to keep me out of trouble. I also run VTTRPGs and am active in the virtual table-top gaming community where I helps others improve the experience for their players. I’m currently re-wilding my garden. I also read. A LOT.
Fears: Heights! I once did a parachute jump for charity – big mistake!
Favourite animal: I love all animals. I have to say my favourite is my Welsh Terrier, Pippa. In the past I’ve had pet rats and chickens, and they’re wonderful creatures to spend time with.
Someone you would like to meet: Historical, Mike Collins – the loneliest person in history. Living, Dr Hannah Sargeant – her ISRU PhD work inspired me to get heavily back into cool space stuff.
